Jack Bartholomew rounded off the final race of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB Championship at Brands Hatch by securing a fantastic third place overall in the Rookie Championship.
After being seriously injured just 12 weeks ago in a training accident and missing 6 races Jack secured enough points at the final round to finish in third place in the 2022 rookie Championship. His points were also valuable to his team, Comline Richardson Racing as he helped them secure the overall team championship for 2022.
Qualifying in P8 in the Pro class Jack had a fantastic race finishing in P6 in the Pro class however in race two Jack was not so fortunate and was taken out whilst fighting for a top 5 position and had to retire with damage to his steering. Luckily the points scored in race one were enough to secure 3rd overall and the team championship.

“Obviously, the accident I had in July was a big blow to my season and ended any hopes of fighting for the championship but to finish P3 in the rookie class helps with the disappointment. I’m super happy that my points also help secure the team championship as they have worked tirelessly all year to give me a good car every race.
I’m going to take some time out to rest and fully recover before I start working on plans for next season”.
